How to: Wear Glitter

Hace tiempo hice un post de cómo obtener el look marinero aplicando esta tendencia según se adapte a tu estilo, ya sea usando un look con tendencia suave hasta el total look, bueno pues ahora se me ha ocurrido hacer lo mismo con el Glitter, así que aquí les dejo mis ideas de cómo aplicar esta tendencia:

Time ago I made a post on How to get the Nautical look according to your style, it could go from using a soft look or getting the total look, well I decided to do the same with the Glitter trend, so here are my ideas on How to apply it to your style:

1. Total look. Para esto es necesaria alguna prenda representativa de esta tendencia. For this look you need a clothe that falls completely into this trend:

1. Zara Blazer 2. Sequin Sweatshirt from Barneys.com 3. Vista Shorts from Nelly.com 4. Notify Glitter Skinny Pants

2. Medium look. Lo puedes obtener buscando prendas que tengan un poco de esta tendencia como puede ser algún detalle en el cuello, mangas o estampado. Yo en lo personal optaría por el cuello, es fácil de hacer (DIY) y se puede colocar en cualquier prenda que ya tengamos en nuestro guardarropa, así que no tendríamos que invertir mucho. For this look you need clothes with hints of this trend like details in the collar, sleeves or some print. In this set of items I chose the collar, it is easy to DIY and you can wear it with any top you already have in your wardrobe, so there is a minimum of investment.

3. Soft look. Esto se logra con accesorios, en este caso yo elegiría los lentes (aunque confieso que ya me compré unos zapatos con Glitter) ya que son un accesorio que podemos conseguir a un precio muy accesible, claro, si no optamos por unos de marca, pero como a mí me gusta cambiar muy seguido de estilos de lentes opto por los que no son de marca. You can achieve this look with accessories; in this case I would choose the sunglasses (even I already bought a pair of glitter flats) because they are cheaper (if you don’t buy designer ones of course) so you can have a lot of sunglasses from any trend.

01/2012 Instagram Snapshots

Pues se acabo Enero y al menos uno de mis propósitos que era postear más seguido en mi blog se ha cumplido, espero seguir así… Well January is gone, and one of my whishes for this year which is post more often here in my blog was accomplished this month, so I hope keep it up…

Otro de mis propósitos es tomar muchas fotos y como muchos mi adicción últimamente es Instagram, aquí les dejo algunas de las fotos que tome durante Enero, esperemos que en febrero sean más… Other of my wishes for this year is take a lot of pictures, and like many others I became addicted to Instagram, so here I share with you some of my shots from January, I hope have more in February…
